What happens when two gay men in a disintegrating relationship leave the city to spend some time alone, together in nature? Is it possible for nature to reveal the truth, their true essence and help them change? Can these two wounded men; traumatised, hurt, lost and desperate on a remote beach find a way back to innocence? Is there a way back to back to love? In post-war England, journalist Stephen Underwood is keen to prove his worth. When he comes across the suicide of a Polish soldier from a nearby Displaced Persons Camp his journalistic instincts kick in, sensing something isn’t quite right, and his first port of call is to question Colonel Janusz Pietrowski, a Liaison Officer for the re-settlement of Polish troops under British command. Judith's new job allows her the opportunity to view and catalogue Roberta's work – archiving but learning her alchemical techniques as she delves deeper and deeper into her past. Throughout her work Judith discovers a secret left on the cutting room floor – a mysterious woman who looks very much like herself. The woman is revealed to be Roberta's missing daughter Maddy, and who's presence is still very much felt throughout each frame of the unraveling archive. Roberta informs her 'That Maddy is coming home'.

Gemma and Will are shattered when their son dies in an accident. Gemma blames herself and starts to have panic attacks which affect her eyesight - and the audience's point of view. Will, tormented, believes he is hearing his son's voice calling out to him. To escape their grief Gemma suggests they take up friend Paul's offer to stay at his Lake District country getaway. Gemma tries to stop her panic attacks with medication, aided by ex-pharmacist Paul. Will, now thinking that he is unable to hear to his son in his bedroom back home, antagonizes Paul and then suddenly returns home. Gemma becomes increasingly reliant on Paul who appears to be developing genuine feelings for her welfare. Love, grief, and the frailty of the human condition are all brought to the fore as Gemma, Will and Paul are caught up in a descent into violence, both psychological and ultimately physical.

This production tells of the legends, from Mordred's point of view. This drama is set in the 530s, against the backdrop of the Saxon invasions, heavily influenced by Celtic legends and Druidic traditions, and the earliest tales of Arthur, and his followers.
