Synopsis

At twenty-one, Chris is already a career criminal, jaded by banal routine and casual violence. When he gets a call from James, a kid from his old school, Chris finds himself brokering a lucrative cigarette deal with local boss Bill. James offers Bill partnership as he looks to cement his place in the criminal hierarchy but as negotiations breakdown, Bill’s drug-fuelled paranoia threatens to derail an already fragile alliance. Set in London, LATVIA is an authentic portrait of dysfunctional lives characterised by risk-taking and violence.
