The Relation is the film about the relation of the family destroyed by the
nightmare of the mother. The illusion of the mother creates trouble with father
and child.The mother feels the unknown force entered into the child and
the unknown forces try to attack her. The relation becomes painful to everyone.
A loving, close-knit family falls apart as we hurtle through the Seventies into the divorce boom of the Eighties. Many years later, when the family home is sold, hindsight and fragments of childhood memory combine to reveal the full story.
