Karen the penguin is not pleased to see John the polar bear on her doorstep. Their argument last night has put her in a very bad mood and John is on egg shells. John has had time to think however and has put together an apology that he hopes will appease her bad temper; he just needs an opportunity to say it out loud with Karen in ear shot. A cup of tea and a sit down would also be good. Karen reluctantly obliges.

Are we observing a series of scientific experiments, the universe in flux, or a documentary of a fictional world?
Having never left the ship when Nora, a service android, is given the oppertunity to leave her life of menial labour and take part in an mission to save the human species, she believes her dream of freedom will be fullfilled. Narrowly avoiding destruction she crash lands on a desolate planet finding herself stranded and without means of communication. Her journey quickly turns to one of survival both for herself and her fellow androids.

Jessica was kicked out at 16 after a family argument and has been housed by the council ever since. Through dark atmospheric animation she recalls the process of getting her hostel place and paints a grim picture of the reality of a life on benefits in temporary accommodation. Addressing the emotional impact of teenaged homelessness, the film was the product of a research project into teenaged homelessness conducted by a group of young Londoners.
