Monotone is a story of love and identity which tackles broader issues of taste, subcultures and a desire for acceptance in a world in which a sense of community is being replaced by a greater focus upon the individual. Yet it does so in a fashion that is accessible to those of all ages and backgrounds.

Both armies charge towards each other with rising urgency until, with arms outstretched, they collide in an epic, heartfelt hug. Chupoo, who lives in a tree on a lonely floating elephant, is habitually woken each morning by a cheeky sausage. Through the chaos the resident creatures pull together using a specially designed mechanism to bring Chupoo his morning shower. As soon as his shower is over trained bats fly the sleeping Chupoo back up his tree to bed, only to see the rigmarole start all over again the very next morning.
