'A Caça Revoluções' is a film that explores the relationship between two generations, two different times and two different fights. As if we could transform a photograph by drawing on it. As if we could transform the present by drawing over the past.

The spoken text of Père Lachaise is a poem about scattering ashes, illicitly, in the famous Paris cemetery. On the screen, the central image is the face of the dead woman, photographed in ATS uniform in black and white. The face is almost always partly obscured by flames. But there is humour in the text, and the brilliant colours of the flames, and the fairground music, suggest life and energy.

This short Anidoc was in response to the Light Princess production in Autumn 2013. Bringing documentary and 2D animation styles together we decided to interview a group of young dancers and hear their thoughts on being a Princess. What would they do as a Princess? As a child in the 1950s, Ron Cockroft drew a chalk line from his school in Oldham to his home in Chadderton. Chalk Trace commemorates and reanimates his graffiti journey through a now much-changed network of streets. The film was photographed in the original streets of Oldham as they stand today – over 60 years after Ron’s original graffiti.

Cremer occupies the spaces between a photograph, a document and a film. It's a collaborative record and examination of the fire and resulting smoke damage that took place in the studio in 2006. As film is exposed to light, the studio was exposed to smoke, leaving shadows on all surfaces.

The film explores the disorienting prismatic effects of the lamphouse of a 35mm colour film printer. Through minute shifts across an abstract colour spectrum, punctuated by a mechanical soundtrack, the film evokes perceptual after-images, bringing to mind Technicolour classic films, Paul Sharits, and Dario Argento.
