When a guy called Lem turns up and offers Celina a job in the Highlands she jumps at the chance. Ania doesn’t want Celina to go and they fall out. Lem lets her stay in his caravan while she works in the factory and waits for her sister to return from a supposed trip to Stornoway.

Ania has an emergency operation performed by the factory’s Dr Balm. While recovering Ania finds Celina’s guitar under Lem’s caravan. Celina would never leave her precious guitar behind so Ania knows that something is really wrong and investigates further…

Brixton has degenerated into a disregarded area inhabited by London's new robot workforce - robots built and designed to carry out all of the tasks which humans are no longer inclined to do. The mechanical population of Brixton has rocketed, resulting in unplanned, cheap and quick additions to the skyline.

The film follows the trials and tribulations of young robots surviving at the sharp end of inner city life, living the predictable existence of a populous hemmed in by poverty, disillusionment and mass unemployment.
