Synopsis

Nicholas Angel is the finest police officer London has to offer, with an arrest record 400% higher than any other officer on the force. He's so good, he makes everyone else look bad. As a result, Angel's superiors send him to a place where his talents won't be quite so embarrassing - the sleepy and seemingly crime-free village of Sandford.

With garden fetes and neighbourhood watch meetings replacing the action of the city, Angel struggles to adapt to his situation and finds himself partnered with Danny Butterman (Nick Frost), an oafish but well meaning young Constable. Just as all seems lost, a series of grisly accidents motivates Angel into action. Convinced of foul play, Angel realises that Sandford may not be as idilic as it seems.

With his faithful new partner in tow, Angel fights to prove his instincts are correct and uncover the truth about Sandford. Is Angel simply loosing his mind in the safest, sweetest village in Britain? Or is something far more sinister at work? A small village is about to get some big city justice.

Based on the short story by best-selling novelist, Maeve Binchy, How About You tells the story of Ellie, a young girl left in charge of a residential home over the Christmas period. Whilst most of the residents have left to spend the festive period with their families, four residents, known as ‘the hardcore’ remain. They have all led interesting lives but now in their twilight years they have become impossible to live with – rude and objectionable but often hilariously funny. In fact, their behaviour is so terrible that the home faces closure as potential new residents are put off by their appalling antics. Ellie would appear to be no match for ‘the hard core’ but when she is pushed to the very limits, she decides to take them on. She succeeds in beating them at their own game and manages to show them the error of their ways. As well as changing them, she also realises that ‘the hard core’ have changed her too in quite an unexpected way.

Synopsis

Two hitmen, the younger, Ray, the older, Ken, are sent to hide out in the strange Gothic, medieval town of Bruges, Belgium, after a hit they were involved with in London went wrong; hired to execute a Catholic priest, Ray also accidentally killed a seven-year-old boy outside a confessional.
While awaiting instructions from their boss, the volatile Harry Waters, who ordered the priest's killing for reasons only he knows, Ray attempts to deal with his darkness and despair over the death of the boy in this town that he can't bear, while Ken, who adores the place, tries to help his friend the best he can.

Ray meets a beautiful girl. Things start looking up. Ken gets the order from Harry to execute Ray. Things start looking down.

Romance and violence ensues. Honour and dramatic reversals abound. There will be dwarves and there will be drugs, and the dark, cobbled streets of this oddball town will be riven with blood and the retort of gunfire and the sickening screams of the guilty and the innocent.  Few will get out of Bruges alive.

 

Synopsis

Incapacity is a film about the young and free in the 21st century - A generation, which despite the new opportunities available, doesn’t actually seem all that free. A generation that is told to go to school, in order to go to university, in order to get the degree which can get you the job. But what happens then? Incapacity follows the journey of Mally, stuck in a job he can’t stand, with people he has no connections with.

This begins to change when he meets Gabriel, a man who lives his life not following the rules, not following the crowd, a man who appears to have all the connections. Could Gabriel hold the answers that Mally is looking for? Or maybe, he just likes to do a lot of drugs.

In a big turn-around Jemima takes the reigns and plans a publicity stunt to attract a five-year sponsorship deal for the art factory-riding naked on a horse over Magdalen Bridge on may morning. this culminates in a reuniting of all, laying to rest of family ghosts and 'the' proper proposal.

Synopsis

When a new Dad finds himself left holding the Baby, he tries his best to keep her entertained. That proves to be the easy part, but then he finds out that the Baby's nappy needs changing. Flumoxed by the instructions on the packet, he relies on his manly DIY skills to come up with a solution.

Moses and Chalkie are brothers trapped in two very different worlds.

Chalkie never grew up, a childhood accident stopped the clocks for him when he was six, he's got an artist's touch and an eye bordering on genius, but not much else.  Mike the window cleaner is his friend, and has taken him in after one too many beatings from Moses. Mike looks after him and he may have just found a future and a way out of The Heights for young Chalkie, he's just praying Moses doesn't find out before tomorrow when the deal is signed. Tonight, Chalkie is out, just doin' his thing, adding his colours to the bricks and the slabs of Paradise Heights, where everybody is nice apart from his brother.

To most around here, Moses is King of The Heights, his girls know that and so do the punters. The streets are his bloodline. An eye for opportunity and a cold ruthless streak got him to the top around here. But some deals go bad and even Moses answers to someone. If he doesn't come up with what he owes soon, the King will fall. Trouble is the punters aren't biting and the girls are nervous because a serial rapist is doing the rounds. Moses instincts have never let him down though and he knows Mike is up to something. Maybe Chalkie is the answer to his problem. What he doesn't know is the word is already out to take him down tonight.

It's when you think it can't get any worse that luck usually has a part to play, and as the sun goes down over Paradise Heights, worlds start to collide.
 
 

Synopsis

Made of Honor revolves around Tom and Claire, who have been platonic friends for ten years. He's a serial dater, while she wants marriage but hasn't found Mr Right. Synopsis

Since they were 13, Harry and Karl have worked as a successful magic double act, devising and perfecting tricks. When, at the height of their fame, Harry catches Karl red handed with his wife, a terrible accident happens: Harry chops his wife and assistant's head off carrying out the guillotine trick. We join them four years later, where they meet again at an international magic competition, the Magic Table Shield. Harry needs to win the cash prize whilst Karl wants to launch his TV career in his new guise as a 'mentalist'. Although they can't put their differences aside, they soon realise they need each other to succeed in the magic world.
