Synopsis

From the director of Little Black Book comes a fresh spin on the high school comedy in the vein of American Pie and Freaky Friday. For 16 years, Woody, a poor but popular school jock and Nell, a prim, over-privileged school academic, have been next-door neighbours and arch enemies. However after some movie high-jinks they wake up one day to find themselves in a very strange place: each other's bodies!
Initially embarking on a hilarious revenge spree as they gleefully embarrass and mess up each other's high-school reputations, they are horrified to realise the implications of their predicament. Nell's interview with Yale is just around the corner and Woody's only shot at a football scholarship is days away. Putting their differences aside they must work together, and in the process come to realise a few home truths about each other; and maybe it's just possible that these two polar opposites might even fall in love.

These include a lonely video-store owner, a drunken Russian cosmonaut marooned on the space station Mir, a paranoid conspiracy nut, a Californian surfer and an elderly Welsh priest. Two of them exaggerate who they are on the air-waves assuming they'll never actually bump into each other. Unfortunately, when they fall in love with each other's imaginary personas things start to get complicated - especially when they find themselves having to meet face-to-face and are forced to try and live up to their fictitious alter-egos.
