Synopsis

Thugs, Mugs and Violence a new British gangland tale set in the boundaries of London. Three criminal gangs that are fighting to win control over the London territories. After the disappearance of £2million pounds worth of drugs, blame falls between the rival firms. The streets of London then become the backdrop to an intertwined game of cat and mouse between the gangs as each make their play to gain control as the story twists and turns with a host of colourful characters, shoot outs and violence. The Davis brothers are old school criminals from the East End of London, Mo Mo is the leader of Brick Lane firm whilst the South London gang is headed by Tony ‘The Ant’ Declan. As the story unfolds around the three gangs, we encounter Peeper’s, Judge, Stardust and the Serb who further intensify the tale of double-cross, bloodshed and revenge.

Synopsis

Set in 1903, TRACKER is a manhunt drama in which Arjan (Ray Winstone), a guerrilla survivor of the South African Boer War, lands in colonial New Zealand and is promised a bounty to capture Kereama (Temuera Morrison), a Maori seafarer accused of killing a soldier. What should be a simple job for Arjan, a master tracker, turns into a gripping and dangerous game of cat and mouse as Kereama repeatedly escapes and is recaptured, all the while insisting on his innocence. As each gains and loses the upper hand, they gradually get to know and respect each other. In an emotional and high-risk showdown, their tenuous bond is tested in the face of a military posse led by Major Carlyle (Gareth Reeves).

Wandering from a dead house party and out through the wilderness, a woman witnesses a man setting fire to clothes on a secluded bridge. In a bare room, a doberman sleeps on the floor, tied to a rusty metal block. On the other side of the room is a woman. She is barely clothed and lying on an old bed, tied up. It is clear that she has been there for a long time. The bed is covered in stains, the woman’s wrists and ankles are raw from struggling against the ties, and her face is stained with tears. The room's two windows are blacked out with bin bags and the only sound that can be heard is the monotonous hum of an air vent. When she surprisingly manages to free one of her hands, the dog begins an incessant angry barking. The woman hurries to free herself from the complex knots but it is difficult for her to concentrate as the doberman is pulling on his own rope, lunging at her. All the noise alerts her mysterious captor and he heads for the room. The woman manages to free herself and she tears at a window, ripping open a binbag. Under the bag, she discovers a metal meshing stopping her from getting to the window itself. Footsteps approach. Can she make it?
