To escape the stress of everyday life, Chris and his two friends Jay and Simon annually go camping deep into the Yorkshire countryside leaving their everyday lives behind. This year Chris invites Paul, his younger and troubled brother along for the trip hoping to form a stronger bond with his wayward sibling. But soon they begin to notice an aggressive change in their usually mild mannered friend Simon only to discover that his wife has had an affair. Shocked, the group try to console their friend, but Simon demands they enjoy their time away inviting them to drink a bottle of champagne in order to celebrate his new found freedom, but as darkness sets all is revealed and that Simon has spiked the bottle with a concentrated dosage of lysergic acid, commonly known as L.S.D.

From here they begin a terrifying game playing on each mans’ fears and soon every one of them are fighting to stay alive. The group are left hallucinating and in the middle of nowhere with no grip on reality, no way of communication and no way out! The truth comes crashing down rapidly which reveals a dark secret that will end in a vicious revenge…

Year’s later in modern day Bucharest, Loredana Anescu finds the gun among her dying Grandfather’s possessions. Long awaiting its re-emergence is Damian Lupescu, owner of Archangel Electronics, who has dreamed of using the power bestowed on the gun to restore fascism in Europe through the medium of modern technology.

Knowing nothing of its dark and mystical past, Loredana unwittingly gives the Luger to Irishman Axel O'Rourke, a Nightclub owner who runs a cigarette smuggling operation from Bucharest to London. Lupescu learns that Loredana has found the Luger and goes after her to get it, she escapes with Axel into the country. Lupescu's henchmen catch up with them, taking Loredana and the Luger, leaving Axel for dead. On learning the legend of the Luger, Axel is urged to follow Lupescu to destroy it. Back in London Axel tracks down Lupescu to put and end to his fanatical plan.
