From director Ian David Diaz and producer Julian Boote, who brought you the award-winning cult Brit-Flick, The Killing Zone (Grand Jury Prize, Best Feature, LA International Independent Film Festival 2000), Dead Room is by turns a dark, tense and sometimes bizarrely comic story of the various occupants of innocuously numbered Room No, 2. An otherwise ordinary flat in suburban London, owned by an untrustworthy Nigerian Landlord, No. 2 is a room born bad. You know the kind… bad karma on top of bad décor! It inevitably attracts all the wrong people, and something weird always happens there.
Giving examples of its four latest occupants - a gentle writer being driven to murder by a cruel prankster; an ill-prepared trio of women falling foul of a self-perpetuating chain of evil; a TV journalist following an alien-obsessed, barking mad assassin; and a homeless man's encounter with a crazed Stalker and her victim - the Landlord shows us just how macabre and downright odd the room's history really is.
Set in a bed-sitting London many will find all too familiar, Dead Room follows the grand tradition of Dead of Night, Creepshow, and Twilight Zone The Movie.
Die Another Day starts with a spectacular Hovercraft chase through a deadly minefield in the demilitarised zone separating North and South Korea - and the action doesn't let up until the credits roll. From Hong Kong to Cuba to London, James Bond (Pierce Brosnan) circles the globe in his quest to unmask a traitor and prevent a war of catastrophic proportions. On his way he crosses paths with Jinx (Oscar®-winner Halle Berry) and Miranda Frost, women who will play vital roles in his adventure.
Hot on the trail of evil megalomaniac Gustav Graves (Toby Stephens) and his ruthless right-hand man Zao (Rick Yune), Bond travels to Iceland and into the villain's lair, a fantastic palace built entirely of ice, where he experiences firsthand the power of a new hi-tech weapon. Ultimately it all leads to an explosive confrontation - and unforgettable conclusion - back in Korea where it all started.
dot the i is a love triangle, a dark comedy with a twist. The story centres on three characters: Carmen, a fiery Spanish girl about to get married; Barnaby, her posh fiancé with dark ambitions; and Kit, a struggling actor who tears up their relationship.
Carmen meets Kit on her hen night - in a kiss arranged by the maitre d' at the restaurant, according to a French tradition. It's a very good kiss. Too good. It's chemical, passionate, and very dangerous.
So she runs.
Torn between her safe, secure fiancé and the chance at gut-wrenching passionate love, Carmen is in a state of indecision. She avoids her heart, and goes with her head - and marries Barnaby. Until she realises she's made a terrible mistake and runs from her wedding bed to Kit.
As the situation intensifies, Carmen embarks on a journey in which she'll be forced to learn that things are never quite what they seem. This twisted tale toys with illusion and reality, passion and artifice.

They all have to put their desires on hold until a rescue bus arrives.
It is a day that changes their lives. For one thing, these total strangers are forced to actually start talking to each other.
Wonderful comic performances, a lovely mix of music and beautiful photography make this a perfect international feelgood movie.

Love Actually is not a new romantic comedy - it is ten new romantic comedies in one. Set in contemporary London in the two months before Christmas, it weaves together a series of touching and hilarious stories that end in not one, but really quite a lot of climaxes on Christmas Eve.
When the England manager has a heart attack, football's top brass turn to Mike Bassett (basically no one else wanted the job). Bassett is the sort of old fashioned manager who writes his team on the back of his cigarette packet.
Even with troubled football genius Tonka Tonkinson back from retirement and off the booze, England lose Mike's first two games in charge. His team struggle to a goal-less draw in the final qualifying match but, thanks to a fluke result elsewhere, England qualify for the finals in Brazil.
In South America things go from bad to worse. The results are pathetic, the team captain is arrested and Tonka has a fling with a beautiful woman… who turns out to be a man. However, inspired by the words of Rudyard Kipling, Mike makes an impassioned plea for the country to get behind him - fans, press, players - even his wife. The rousing words stir the team… but even though they play the game of their lives, the scores are still level with five minutes remaining. Bassett makes his final, brave, and some would say stupid decision - to bring on Tonka. Fired up, Tonka comes off the bench to try to restore pride to the nation.
Warning: This film contains scenes of a controversial nature, political correctness is undetectable, bad taste and silliness are bountiful - those of a sensitive disposition beware.
The story of two unlikely lads from Belfast stumbling through London's underground gay scene in search of gainful employment to subsidise their giros.
Our protagonists build up an unusual clientele, offering their services to the homosexual misfits who just can't get laid. When one of the lads witnesses the death of a punter, they are forced to look for 'work' elsewhere which leads them to discover the myth of 'The Bread in the Bed' - a bed packed full with money that can only be accessed by the man who has what it takes to pass the mysterious 'Really Hard Red Bull Test'. Nine Dead Gay Guys is the hilarious, outrageous but unfortunate result of the ensuing caper.
One For The Road is a British anti-buddy movie exploring the frailty and weakness of male bonding. A black comedy, following the lives of four men who meet on a rehabilitation course for drink drivers who have lost their licences.
Jimmy is young, ambitious and desperate to sell his late father's business; Paul has been salesman of the year three times running; Richard is a retired millionaire property developer and Mark, likable and honest, is a marijuana dependant taxi driver come part-time philosopher.
Very quickly they realise the course is the networking opportunity of a lifetime as Paul, Mark and Jimmy plot to relieve Richard of some of his wealth. However, unbeknown to them, he is savvy to their plans and is always one step ahead.
An innovative black comedy, the film pushes the boundaries of digital video technology as it follows the events of the four men on a week long course, bonding over the idiocy of Role Play, the battlefields of Paintball, nights of drinking and impotent passion, and an end of course celebration party round the pool at the millionaire's mansion.
As Suzie Gold's sister prepares to get married, it seems only natural that Suzie's thoughts should turn to the state of her own love-life. While her doting but dysfunctional family desperately want her to be happy - preferably by finding a good Jewish boy to settle down with - Suzie meets Darren, a boy from work, and they start a heady romance. But the relationship sours when Suzie finds herself unable to bring him home, worried that he won't match up to her family's exacting (double) standards.
Heartborken, Suzie begins to question her role in life, and develops a need to break away from the family and traditions that have always defined her. But she is soon approached by perfect son-in-law material Anthony Silver (nice Jew, nice job, nice car) who quickly assumes, as does her family, that she will marry him. While the pressure builds for her to tie the knot, Suzie is forced to decide what she really wants out of life - and whether to follow the path laid out for her, or to make her own way through uncharted territory.
A romantic comedy set in the vibrant and colourful world of North London, full of humour, spunk and warmth, Suzie Gold conveys the universal struggle of finding one's true identity amidst social conventions and family tradition.
