Savage Witches is a playful, poetic and experimental film about two teenage girls who want nothing but to play games, dress up and have adventures, but when they find themselves in conflict with the world around them they set out to transform it and break free! The film attempts to satisfy all their wishes for freedom. They are aided by a magic key, which unlocks the film allowing process to mix with its creation, artifice and reality to intermingle. But when Gretchen and Margarita are confronted with reality, it becomes clear that there is a vast gap between what they say they want and what they really want. Once the game has been set in motion they are swept along by the film’s momentum and must see it through to the end.

Savage Witches is a colourful collage of sounds and images that has been created using all manner of processes and formats from VHS and Super 8 to drawn animation and hand-coloured frames, resulting in a bold and expressionistic exploration of the art of cinema.

Following a small group of passengers on a day excursion upon the River Clyde in Scotland, aboard the famous Waverley, the last sea-going Paddle Steamer in the World.
Sitting together on the deck, enjoying some drinks under the Scottish sun, they pass the time sharing a few stories, which of course they maintain all to be true, and just so happens to involve people they know, or friends of people they know.
The passengers share four tales together, which make up the four segments of the film; 'Truth Machine', 'Chatroom Desire', 'Spark of Innocence' and 'Adam's Journey'. The first three tales seem grounded in what could appear to be very possible circumstances, but the final tale seems perhaps a bit far-fetched, surrounded and steeped in supernatural drama.

On a family trip to the seaside, a father sees his daughter eating a sandwich she dropped in the sand, and remembers that a serial killer's ashes were scattered on that beach. His long-suffering wife wants to enjoy a 'normal' day out without her husband speculating on the dark side of life. Events take a bizarre turn when the family visit a run down amusement arcade where the girl claims drags a strange prize from the claw machine.
