Synopsis

It's All Gone Pete Tong is a comedy following the tragic life of legendary Frankie Wilde. Taking the form of a bio-pic, taking us through Frankie's life from one of the best DJ's alive, through subsequent battle with a hearing disorder, culminating in his mysterious disappearance from the scene.
 
A genius in his own right, he clawed his way to the top of the DJ ranks, now living the opulent life of a superstar, he resides in his trophy villa in Ibiza with his trophy wife. This is when tragedy hits.
 
Born with a hearing disorder he is rapidly going deaf with only one functioning ear to complete the new Ibiza season. How is he doing behind the decks? Horrible. How is he doing in the studio where he produces his remixes?
 
Frankie dives into a low period, struggling with deafness in utter depression. After a year of locking himself away he emerges on the other side with a fresh attitude towards his affliction. He accepts his deafness and learns to function without sound.
 
Will Frankie make it back to the DJ booth? Will his new single be any good? Will he get back his opulent old life or does he even want it back?  When you can't hear, things look very different.

As Audrey struggles to keep her nighttime horrors at bay they start to creep into her reality and invade her waking hours. A small, orange, plastic ring grows at her navel, attached to a piece of string which disappears into her stomach.  What involuntary words will she utter when the cord is pulled? Will her own body betray her?  Audrey must take control of her life before she is consumed by the nightmarish world that runs parallel to her reality and she is forced to do something unspeakable.

Kawah Ijen is an active volcano. It is also the site of labour intensive sulpher mining. There is no machinery, only a stream of hardy local labourers.
 
A contemporary twist on the myth of Sisyphus, the film follows these miners on their gruelling journey - from crater to wage clerk - ultimately questioning the ritual of labour.

In 1904 the Elan Valley, in Wales, was flooded to create reservoirs for Birminghams's water supply. Many buildings were destroyed and over a hundred people were displaced. Keepsake uses original footage, archive maps, stills and domestic objects; the waters of the reservoir are 'drained' to reveal what was lost.

After committing an unspecified act of violence, a young prostitute, frightened and desperate, turns to her mini-cab driver for help. A relaxed but cautious man he wants to help out but is concerned about the risks involved. The ending is deliberately open-ended and the audience can only speculate about the final outcome.

A modern urban fairytale, Kingdom is the story of an accountant (Simon Kirk) who unwittingly stumbles on a centuries-old plan by a duplicitous feudal lord (Peter Campbell-Orde) to claim the crown of a kingdom ruled by dragons.

With its ambitious mix of live action and complicated computer-generated images, Kingdom is a tribute to writer-director Kenneth D Barker's perseverance and resourcefulness. Determined to make a film that would stand out from the crowd of Tarantino-wannabes and have a wide consumer appeal, he decided to shoot the film on digital video directly for the video sell-through market because it would be quick and cheap. He teamed up with model-maker and special-effects designer Gary Rowntree, who suggested combining rod-controlled puppetry with CGI to create the dragons.

By spring 1998 cast and crew were in place and Barker sent out a business plan to potential investors via the Yorkshire Association of Business Angels. Barely 10 days before principal photography was due to start, an anonymous businessman came forward with enough cash to see the film through to post-production.

The film, which, with its images of dragons flying over the Leeds skyline, certainly seems to fulfil Barkers original aim, is available to order from Barker's website www.wotr.co.uk. He is now working on two projects which he will write and produce - the period sci-fi The Last Great Adventure and the futuristic 2642AD.
