Synopsis

It's a Casual Life tells the story of Jimmy and his lifelong membership of the Saturday scene.
 
Through a brutally honest monologue and series of dramatic and violent events, the film challenges the myths surrounding football hooliganism and explores Jimmy's past, passion and above all, motivation.
 
Central to the story is Jimmy's love affair with the culture of football. We discover his resentment at the evolution of The Casual scene and the demise of everything it once stood for.
 
Changes that ultimately arrive for Jimmy have long-lasting consequences.

Synopsis

It's All Gone Pete Tong is a comedy following the tragic life of legendary Frankie Wilde. Taking the form of a bio-pic, taking us through Frankie's life from one of the best DJ's alive, through subsequent battle with a hearing disorder, culminating in his mysterious disappearance from the scene.
 
A genius in his own right, he clawed his way to the top of the DJ ranks, now living the opulent life of a superstar, he resides in his trophy villa in Ibiza with his trophy wife. This is when tragedy hits.
 
Born with a hearing disorder he is rapidly going deaf with only one functioning ear to complete the new Ibiza season. How is he doing behind the decks? Horrible. How is he doing in the studio where he produces his remixes?
 
Frankie dives into a low period, struggling with deafness in utter depression. After a year of locking himself away he emerges on the other side with a fresh attitude towards his affliction. He accepts his deafness and learns to function without sound.
 
Will Frankie make it back to the DJ booth? Will his new single be any good? Will he get back his opulent old life or does he even want it back?  When you can't hear, things look very different.

As Audrey struggles to keep her nighttime horrors at bay they start to creep into her reality and invade her waking hours. A small, orange, plastic ring grows at her navel, attached to a piece of string which disappears into her stomach.  What involuntary words will she utter when the cord is pulled? Will her own body betray her?  Audrey must take control of her life before she is consumed by the nightmarish world that runs parallel to her reality and she is forced to do something unspeakable.

In 1904 the Elan Valley, in Wales, was flooded to create reservoirs for Birminghams's water supply. Many buildings were destroyed and over a hundred people were displaced. Keepsake uses original footage, archive maps, stills and domestic objects; the waters of the reservoir are 'drained' to reveal what was lost.

After committing an unspecified act of violence, a young prostitute, frightened and desperate, turns to her mini-cab driver for help. A relaxed but cautious man he wants to help out but is concerned about the risks involved. The ending is deliberately open-ended and the audience can only speculate about the final outcome.
 
Killing time is a dark, tense, noirish encounter about divided loyalties, morality, race and unspoken desire between two very different individuals struggling to survive on the margins of society. Compelling, stylish and intriguing, killing time is an unusual take on the comfort of strangers.
