The characters demonstrate their longings as we witness their thwarted lives and strategies for survival eg a woman who can't stop jogging, a man obsessed with Claudia Schiffer.

Jim is an old man living in the basement of the property with a lot of hatred for the young guys living upstairs. In the tension of the last day, all their relationships are tested to a point where they get involved in a homicide.
