Synopsis

William Shakespeare's classic romantic comedy transposed to the contemporary high school setting of chavs, goths, emos and geeks.

A kindly old headmaster is forcefully usurped by his ambitious deputy, who promptly suspends the old headmaster's daughter, Rosalind, the most popular girl in the school. Orlando, the school nerd, unexpectedly wins a wrestling match and becomes the object of Rosalind's affections. When the school is sent on a field trip Rosalind, with her friends Celia and Touchstone, decides to gate crash the trip disguising herself as a boy 'chav' which results in one of the most captivating and amusing love stories in Shakespearian literature.

But what are their methods and are they a step too far?<br /> <br /> After getting drawn into street violence, a rebellious youth and his sister Dana are sent by their concerned parents to a radical new school where anti-social children rapidly become compliant. Vee, a newly arrived teacher, is spooked by these ‘Stepford’ teens and grows suspicious, as does Dana whose brother has changed beyond recognition.<br /> <br /> With the aid of Peter, a local reporter and Bobby, another pupil seemingly unaffected by the school, Vee and Dana set out to uncover the truth behind the McCarthy Institute. But their investigations are cut short as, in true ‘Body Snatcher,’ style they find themselves hunted down by pupils and teachers alike until Dana is the only girl left with a mind of her own. Even by seeking refuge at home, Dana is faced with one final impossible dilemma.

However, the school’s consistent low grades are a source of anger to one man, a sinister councilor who intends to tear down the school and make way for a huge community swallowing superstore. <br /> <br /> The students learn of this plot and barricade themselves inside their home. In the midst of this stakeout the pupils’ come across a set of ancient documents that state the school can exist as an independent country. With this information the children of Millington declare themselves exempt from the United Kingdom and consequently humiliate the Prime Minister. His feathers ruffled and his party embarrassed he sets in motion events that will change the world of children forever.

The Albion Hall gang upset the corporate giant Bolingbroke inc. and for their troubles they are hunted down and captured. Only by working together can the youngsters thwart Harvey Van Bolingbroke’s plans and rescue the treasure from his evil clutches.
