Project Detail

Backroads

Synopsis

Set in a sleepy Fenland village, Backroads is a story about the essential humanity of those who find themselves caught up in sex slavery; and how cultural blindness, complacency, prejudice and inaction can cause just as much damage as any calculated crime.

It is also a film that makes the audience think about and appreciate what they have.
