Director: Gavin Boyter
Year: 2015
Tom Sanger has just lost his dream job at a London record company. As he leaves, fate intervenes and Tom finds himself trapped in a lift with the consultant who lost him his job. He'd really love to hate her... trouble is she's is French and beautiful. Eloise Martin is uncomfortable being confined with a man she's sacked. But Tom's juvenile attitude helps her hide the embarrassment under a mask of contempt. Secretly, she's vulnerable, claustrophobic, and a little attracted, despite his rough edges. As the temperature in the lift begins to rise heat, so do the tempers. Flash forward... five years. Tom and Eloise meet on London's South Bank. They've had a four-year relationship which ended six months earlier. Against the backdrop of a crisp Christmas evening Tom and Eloise amble towards the train station, reminiscing about their time together. Old memories evoke feelings both have tried to squash. Subtly they interrogate each's true motives for the meeting. Are there still shared feelings? Is Eloise's life as perfect as she makes out? And does Tom have a hidden agenda? If so, there's just 45 minutes to win Eloise back before she gets on her train and is gone forever.
