She is the love of his life, but she fades every day into the recesses of memory. Like the loose pages of a diary that Max reads, over and over again, to find her again, to forgive, to never forget, to relive the few moments that still remain by her side.

The Cauca River stops flowing in Beltrán, Marsella, Risaralda. People find dead people every day in the river. Their killers throw them in upstream. Relatives come to Beltrán to see if any of the bodies are their loved ones. This film is about a love story around a river used as a mass grave.
