A bold and colourful comedy set in both a courtroom and the imagination of a delightfully oddball hero, Anne. Anne appears as an introverted courtroom illustrator whose difficulty in expressing herself stems from her imaginary mother’s constant criticism. However, when a dashing convict named Simon walks into the room we get a glimpse into Anne’s imagination and sanctum; a world of sexually infused 70’s disco. Anne’s attempts at trying to seduce Simon in the regular world seem to fall of deaf ears until she’s able to escape into her mind with him and indulge in a dance off that just might culminate in Anne’s happy ever after.

As she navigates this new social landscape, she unexpectedly finds herself drawn towards another woman from her town. This secret affection creates a conflict within her, torn between fulfilling her marital duties and following her heart. Through its poignant portrayal of love in the face of societal expectations, the movie explores themes of identity, independence, and the struggle for authentic connection amidst tradition-bound constraints.
