Synopsis

Set in 19th century New York and based on Henry James’ classic novel, the a wonderfully passionate story of Catherine Sloper, a young heiress who must choose between love and money. Therefore, she is swept of her feet by the handsome fortune hunter named Morris Townsend until she falls in love with him. But however, her father threatens to disown his daughter if she follows her heart to marry Morris against his compelling wishes.
