While his brother is the local hero, playing for Leeds United, Dusty is the weirdo who’ll be the first person in the family to go to University. But Dusty finds friendship with a very special dog, Slapper, a greyhound who won’t race…
This endearing film for all ages takes us into the world of greyhound racing through the eyes of a young man on the brink of the adult world, but it’s also about class and ambition, first love and true love and above all, about family. Based on real events this delightful comedy brings a host of eccentric and authentic characters into a heartfelt story that will ring true for everyone.
