Synopsis

Edward Greenfield, is a music critic and above all, music lover, who has chronicled classical music and opera for the past sixty years, for The Guardian, where he was chief music critic from 1977 to 1993, Gramophone Magazine and BBC radio. He was awarded an OBE in 1994.
