Fish Can't Fly

Synopsis

On the window ledge of a high-rise block of flats by the sea, a suicidal pet fish knocks his fish tank towards a fatal drop. A middle-aged man endeavours to save the fish by running up to the flat, whilst a growing crowd of passers by on the ground gather containers of water in which to catch the fish. Will anyone manage to save the fish and turn his seeming suicide attempt into a successful rescue effort instead?

When meticulous, career-obsessed Cameron (James Rottger) discovers his aimless flatmate Eilidh (Elle Watson) is pregnant after their drunken one-night stand, both assume there is an obvious way out. But when Eilidh finds she cannot go through with the termination, the pair are forced into an awkward, absurd and increasingly intimate attempt at preparing for parenthood.
