Fog World
Synopsis
This film captures the hilarious diary of this failure, in which Ryan calls on a 4x4, a GPS gnawed by the cold, an elf and a Viking guide with whom he maintains a virtual correspondence. Moving between simulated reality, video games and cinema, the film explores the geography of a country marked by the exoticism of its landscapes, often used as backdrops for Hollywood movies. A hilarious look at the way in which new technologies condition our ways of representing territories.

Previs
Director: Ruaidhri Ryan
Year: 2024
Following a film director's journey from London to Los Angeles to meet a storyboard artist, Janet, who storyboards the journey the director has made to meet her. Searching for movie-worthy encounters, the director pursues epiphanies and main character moments while walking in the canyons and driving on the freeways of the cinematically saturated city. The storyboard sequence is altered when Janet unveils a shocking story of her own. Humorously riddled with digressions, PREVIS is at first an enlightening insight into the mysterious mechanics of movie-making, told through the collaborative dynamic of director and storyboard artist. Adage
Director: Jack Barrett
Year: 2025
Adage is a ballet term which refers to a slow and graceful sequence of movements - in this film artist/ filmmaker Jack Barrett seeks to juxtapose this with disorientating abstraction caused by process and editing. Barrett utilises risograph, mono-print, shadow projection and manual point tracking to create varying levels of abstraction, in turn playing with our associated perception of movement. Loss.y
Director: Lisa Jamhoury
Year: 2026
Situated at the physical-virtual threshold, loss·y memorializes corporeal passing and digital rebirth. The work intertwines animated sculptural “dances” with interactive spatial audio, inviting audiences to navigate invisible thresholds as they move. loss·y presents three split-seconds of a motion-captured female-female pas de deux: each moment is suspended in a vignette that overlaps projection and 3D prints encapsulating the dance in sculpture, with spoken-word poetry and spatial sound design. The installation’s audioscapes blend cold technical facts, accounts of digital dysmorphia and surveillance, and computer-generated sampling, creating an elegy to the vital body that is at once human and digital. On its surface a critique of today’s techno-society, loss·y collusively takes up digital reduction and surveillance as creative media, revealing reverence for the uncanny wonder that pulls us forward into our new, hybridized world.
