Joe is clinging by his fingernails to the fragile existence he has created.

When his new girlfriend falls pregnant, his world unravels and he has no choice but to face his broken past and try to regain control of his destiny. His best friend's wife wants to help (to the horror of her husband) but with an angry ex-girlfriend and her even less receptive father in his way, Joe struggles at every turn to become the man the world needs him to be.

A tale of a flawed man facing up to the possibility of a dead-end future and a seriously messy past.

Really Really

Director: Daniel Mitelpunkt

Year: 2007

Eleanor wants to change her life. She needs to. It's evident in her bank balance, haircut and love life.

Followed by a ferocious documentary film crew, she aims to capture the story of her attempted life change, to make sense of it, and emerge as a new person, a new character.

Her mission gets somewhat messy when a Turkish playboy, an estate agent with motherly guilt and an old friend from University crash into her new life, and the film depicting it, messing both of them up.

A story about persona and identity, life in a big city and individualism, the film examines relationship between one’s character, and the 'character' one portrays, playing with the inevitable tension between life and storytelling.
