Synopsis

'I like this house,' said Tolly. 'It’s like living in a book that keeps coming true.'

1944 - When 13 year-old Tolly goes home for Christmas to his grandmother’s country house he begins to unravel a family mystery over a century old. A hunt for missing jewels becomes a voyage of self discovery, sending Tolly back in time where he discovers that Green Knowe holds secrets beyond his wildest dreams.

The Others meets Tom’s Midnight Garden in this eerie, magical screenplay from Julian Fellowes (The Young Victoria, Gosford Park, Vanity Fair).
