The Boy Crisis: Cancel Warren Farrell The Boy Crisis: Cancel Warren Farrell

Director: Hannah Gal

Year: 2025

Charting the epic journey of one of the most influential luminaries of our time from 1960s feminist pioneer to the present day - Dr Warren Farrell is a rare breed - he is the only man in history elected three times to the board of The National Organisation for Women in New York City. The past decades have seen him go from being the world's most celebrated male-feminist, to shunning men's and women's "rigid roles of the past". From authoring 'The Liberated Man' and speaking on women’s rights the world over, to highlighting the global boy crisis and the impact of dad deprivation on girls, boys, women, men and society.
Enthralling both ends of the political spectrum he has appeared on over 1000 TV shows - from CNN, Oprah Winfrey, Good Morning America, Donahue, Barbara Walters, Vaush and the BBC, to FOX, Jordan Peterson, Megyn Kelly and Tucker Carlson. Chosen by the Financial Times as one of the world's top 100 thought leaders, lifelong feminist Farrell has changed the course of history with his groundbreaking books.
The documentary charts Farrell's trailblazing journey and features original interviews, including John Gray ('Men Are From Mars, Women Are From Venus') and Professor Nicola Graham Kevan, and a reading made specially for the film by the legendary Thomas Sowell about the destruction of the black family.
An epic journey into the maverick trailblazer's evolution, reflecting society's profound transformation over the past six decades. A brave and deeply thought-out insight into society today with Farrell's very personal take on what Gloria Steinem was really like, why Robert Redford and his wife came to his house for dinner, and why John Lennon thanked Farrell for helping him make "the best decision of his life" and "discovering the true meaning of love?"
"You have to be pro-female and pro-male if you want to be pro-human" argues dialogue-advocating Farrell, "we are all in the same family boat - when one sex wins, both sexes lose."

Erin: Beyond the Bruises Erin: Beyond the Bruises

Director: Hannah Gal

Year: 2023

“Domestic violence - the beast that has been with us since time immemorial but refuses to die." Erin Pizzey
Erin Pizzey is a hero. Every refuge today owes its existence to her courage. Five decades after she made history, by opening the first women’s refuge in the world, icon Pizzey is joined by Dame Joanna Lumley to ask why so many lives are still devastated by domestic abuse. Articulate and engaging, they explore the mechanism, essence and psychology of the abuse, explaining why “the beast that has been with us since time immemorial” refuses to die. Resting on Erin’s five decade fight and unparalleled knowledge, they present proven ways to stop the cycle of abuse for both victim and perpetrator.
ERIN: BEHIND THE BRUISES offers a rarely intimate insight into the hidden reality of abuse. Through Erin’s astonishing life and great sacrifice, the film shows the incredible progress made, but sends an urgent message to press on. Thanks to Erin's courage, women went from suffering in silence, with nowhere to turn fifty years ago, to being supported and helped today, but the problem remains. “Too many today are still accepting the abuse because they are trapped, but we can stop it” explains Pizzey, calling for a "long overdue open, honest and serious discussion about domestic abuse.” This film is a call for action, a golden opportunity for real change.
Edited by Chris Hall (CNN, BBC, Discovery, Channel4), the film pays tribute to a living legend who changed the course of history. Fifty years ago Erin has singlehandedly brought domestic violence into the open, forcing society, local authorities and governments to address it. Erin has saved thousands of lives and changed women and children’s lives for the better, but her fight against domestic violence is far from over.
