Synopsis

The Amber Room was one of the world's greatest cultural treasures, until the Nazis invaded Russia in 1941 and ripped it from the walls of Catherine Palace. The secret of its fate has been kept for over fifty years. The documentary focuses on the relationship between art and war and encounters some of the people who have become obsessed with revealing the dark secrets of the Amber Room.
