Inside Out

Synopsis

English student falls in love with Eastern European girl who turns him inside out when she dates two older men for money.

Medical student James Silverdale, from Stafford is in London to study medicine. He is a loner but strikes up a relationship with a beautiful educated girl from the Czech Republic. He has been with her for some months, so he can’t quite believe his luck. She seems smitten with him until she meets a wealthy gambler and entrepreneur David, who invites her to go out with him to the casino. She accepts David’s invitation and happily wins £8,000 at the casino. David also showers her with gifts so that she gets used to a new exciting lifestyle based on money and status. She keeps this from James who discovers the expensive dresses and things David has brought her. Meanwhile she sleeps with David but at the same time tries to keep her relationship going with James, who she really loves.

James Becomes increasingly aware that he can’t provide for her. Kristabel soon gets bored with David and she moves on to a famous music producer, Micky who also frequents the casino. David gets jealous and immediately informs James, who is understandably angry.

During all this, James’ mother dies, so Kristabel puts off breaking up with him. She keeps going out with Micky who is determined to take her to the south of France on a business junket to the music festival in his private jet. But she conspires with James so that he can come to France at the same time - they hatch a plan in which James dresses up a woman to take the identity of their close friend Renatta.

James takes the train down to the south of France, Posing as a woman manages to stay along side Kristabel and Micky. It is not long before he is seized with jealousy and in a fit of rage murders Kristabel. Making his way back to England he discovers that he has committed the perfect crime because the police arrest Renatta instead of him.

After 10 years together George Sand is out to destroy her ex-lover, composer and court pianist Frédéric Chopin. As revolution breaks in France, 1848, Chopin is reduced to making a living as a piano teacher. When Sand publishes a satirical novel that portrays him as a seducer of young girls, his pupils are withdrawn. Taking the advice of his former student, Jane Stirling, Chopin travels with her to London. A Scottish heiress, Sterling orchestrates concerts and interest among high society and royalty.<br /> When Sand’s novel is translated into English Chopin is shunned by London society and forced to Scotland to live off the Stirling fortune. Sand writes to Chopin in Scotland informing him that she has burnt all his manuscripts. Stirling hastily sets about re-scoring Chopin's work. She pursues marriage with Chopin but he rebuffs her, he still loves Sand.<br /> Fleeing back to London he quickly sinks into poverty and illness. He collapses at, what is to be, his final concert. Returning to Paris under doctors orders Chopin is confronted by Sand on his deathbed. Against the advice of her family, Sterling travels to Paris finding Chopin dying, he finally concedes his love to her in his final breaths.

Nessie Nessie

Jimmy the village committee chairman is informed by letter that the village has been left $50 million by a rich American industrialist in order to improve the life of the villagers. Incensed by the size of the the legacy, the American industrialist’s son, Brad, hires an Edinburgh law firm to contest his father’s wishes. A young female solicitor, Heather, is dispatched to the Highland village to await further instructions. Posing as a tourist she befriends the villagers but is beguiled by Jimmy’s son Geordie. However, when Heather reveals that she is working for the American industrialist's son Brad, and that the village is in no position to legally challenge the his blocking of the pay out, she is shunned. Propelled to desperate measures to make amends, Heather informs Brad that the Loch Ness Monster 'Nessie' really exists and that she has seen it herself. Disbelieving, but seeing the tourist potential of the monster, Brad flies to Scotland to discover the truth for himself.
