Lightning Falls
Synopsis
Since retiring from the ring in 1997 the once mythologised fighter descends into a world plagued by drug abuse and alcoholism.
Now it's 2010 and he is bankrupt and forgotten, fighting for money in the seedy underworld of unlicensed fighting and suffering flashbacks to his glory days brought on by brain damage.
Battling against his own inner demons and plagued by psychotic episodes, the rage that once made him a champion in the ring is about to prove his downfall.

With no way to escape the waves of torment that we see come thrashing down on them and the poverty trap they fall into a world dependant on the state, before long the dreams they once had become a nightmare just to stay together and survive.
