Amanda is a city high flyer who has it all; she’s climbed the corporate ladder, has an equally successful executive on her arm and a family is in the diary – eggs stored in a clinic and ready.
But this perfect world is turned upside down when her eggs, frozen in her prime and ready to use when the time is right, are accidentally defrosted. If Amanda’s going to have children, she’s going to have to do it as nature intended… and quickly!
Her partner Charles is not into being the stay-at-home father Amanda requires. As the plan certainly doesn't include giving up her hard won career, Amanda needs to find a man who’s willing to sacrifice everything to bring up their baby.
There may be a lot of men out there but none seem to have that magic combination of youth, intelligence, good looks and, crucially, a total lack of ambition – none that is until she meets Dan, who seems to be the perfect city slacker. Perhaps she isn’t strictly honest about her motives, but then, neither is he… And all the while lurking in the background is the vengeful Charles, plotting a very public humiliation for them both.

The aftermath of a sexual assault (rape). Exploring the deep-felt consequences for all involved. At its heart an epic story of a couple's fight for the survival of their love.

Director: Adam Park
Year:
Told through leaked footage compiled by a whistle-blower, the film follows Emma and Richard, a couple thrust into the wilderness to survive for 100 days. Their confidence quickly turns to terror as a malevolent creature begins stalking them, ultimately killing Richard in a gruesome attack. Emma escapes and infiltrates the facility where the show's creators review their "progress." There, she discovers the chilling truth: the creature is part of their unholy science. With the odds stacked against her, Emma turns the tables - delivering brutal justice with unexpected aid from the very horror that was meant to destroy her. A darkly satirical blend of horror, sci-fi, and mockumentary, THE WILDING exposes the monstrous extremes the powerful will go to cheat death - and the human cost of their ambition.
