Project Detail

Nefarious

Synopsis

Nefarious (formerly known as Wicked) is a fast-paced, character-led, slacker movie, about karma, friendship and recreational drugs culture. Set in Amsterdam, London and the Teesdale Valley, it is the profoundly honest and ultimately uplifting story of two dope-dealing, bohemian outlaws and their quest to move to Amsterdam and open up a coffee shop.

When lovable, bumbling rogues Lex and Billy are caught dealing in an international cocaine smuggler's nightclub, Mr Elkiar makes them an offer they can't refuse, and their lives spiral dangerously out of control.
In a fast-moving, poignant story, the shades of grey between good and evil are positively enlightened by the transcendent nature of friendship and romantic tragedy.
