A post apocalyptic age and the land is lawless, watching over the land are small watching posts, manned by a single waywatcher, on the lookout for refugees. One such waywatcher is Hilts and when he inadvertantly rescues one such female refugee, they soon find they are getting to have feelings for one another which soon leads them to being on the run.<br /> <br /> Finding refuge with 'Mother', Hilts and Kara are tasked with a rescue before they can seek safety within the exclusion zone, but with each others revelations, trust becomes their biggest challenge.
