Despite her challenging and uncompromising views, which made her a figure of intense controversy, she was nevertheless greatly respected for the quality of her writing and thought, the power of her oratory, and her great commitment to the feminist cause. 'Intercourse' offers a multi-layered visual, narrative approach to her life and thought, with multiple actors taking her role and expressive and non-naturalistic re-enactments of pivotal moments.
