No Time For Tea At Raj TV

Synopsis

Raja Khan is a man on a mission. He's persuaded his childhood friend Big John who owns chip shop chain Big Johns to invest millions into his dream - his won TV station.

Raj wants to create his own station for British Asians, but he has a David Brent style of management and has gathered young Asian graduates who are desperate to get in to TV to make his programmes. Raj is facing a deadline, he has only 3 months to get his channel on air or he'll lose his channel. The pressure is on.

Each year the prettiest young girl in the town is paraded through the main square as the carnival queen. But this year the festivities are going to be turned on their head,  because this year David is the first ever gay male carnival queen. Under huge pressure from the locals who feel he is bringing shame on their village- David, in his lilac dress, is determined to stand up be proud of himself in front of all his doubters.
