Synopsis
England continues to suffer under her twin rulers' Edward and his chief counsellor and Mortimer's sworn enemy, Hugh Despenser.
When Mortimer arrives at the head of an invading army, and with the king's estranged wife, Isabella, at his side, it's immediately clear whose cause the people of England will support. Edward is captured and offered a stark choice: renounce the throne, or face his own son across a battlefield.
England crowns its new king - the 14-year-old Prince of Wales, but his inexperience shows when he mounts a campaign against the Scots that ends in humiliating defeat. He resents Mortimer's continuing affair with his mother and his unwillingness to hand over control of the country to its rightful ruler.
Mortimer's wealth and power are restored, but rumours of Edward II's 'unnatural' death begin to circulate. How long before the man who would be king is brought down?

No-one wants to go out on a downer, with the end card telling us how many hundreds of thousands lined the streets of his home town to bid him farewell, along with the millions watching on live television.
The Titan Disaster (working title)

Exploring the major mysteries behind the Titan Disaster, when the Titan submersible imploded on a journey to observe the wreck of the Titantic. The tragedy took the lives of five people in the North Atlantic in 2023 and captured the world’s attention. <br /> The documentary explores what exactly went wrong with the submersible that caused it to implode. And why did the inventor of Titan, Stockton Rush, as widely reported, repeatedly dismiss strident safety warnings from submersible experts and even those from his own engineers? Stockton died in the implosion that destroyed Titan; did his previous successful dives to Titanic cause him, like Icarus in Greek mythology, to become overconfident and fly too close to the sun?<br /> Including never-before seen footage of Titan’s previous successful dive to Titanic, and Stockton Rush’s last interview recorded for mainstream TV.
