Synopsis

Set in 1973. single Dad, Jimmy focuses all his energies on the welfare of his eight-year-old daughter, Laura. When he sees her being bullied on the way to school he intervenes, but in doing so misses a court appearance. As Jimmy and Laura escape to the countryside they have no way of knowing how their perfect day will end.
