Plato's Breaking Point

Synopsis

Set in Harlesden in 1999, the film begins with the shooting of Plato Armanani by police marksmen. He and his friend, Raoul, are criminals under surveillance. As the pressure of the surveillance increases, Plato starts to crack up. He is isolated and alone. He falls out with his girlfriend, buys a gun and vows to use it on one of the cops. He shoots a cop after a boxing match, and goes on the run. Raoul tries to track him down and finds him suicidal at his mother's flat. Raoul and his girl, Raine, try to get him to safety, but they are all run to ground and Plato is tragically shot.
