Sonny and Petrulia

Synopsis

Petrulia, an elderly woman lays down across some railroad tracks to kill herself. She doesn't know that that particular stretch of track has been shut down. Sonny, a young man comes along on a pump trolley. He almost runs her over, but manages to stop just in time. This is the beginning of a strange little relationship between the two. They end up pumping away together, headed for the next station.
