Synopsis
Stanley becomes desperate to learn the truth about what happened to his daughter and what lead to having this ordinary life he has already dreamed of.
Award-winning actor Timothy Spall plays Stanley and all the characters in his hallucinations; from the flamboyant Noel Coward to the grotesque Max Wall to the ukulele king George Formby, to Egor in a Transylvanian castle.

Based on Edgar Allan Poe’s short story, 'Steven Berkoff’s Tell Tale Heart' is the story of an unnamed servant who sets out to convince the viewer of his sanity by narrating the meticulously calculated murder of his old master whose “vulture eye” was too much for him to bear. <br /> The servant describes carefully dismembering and hiding the body under the floorboards. Convinced he can still hear his victim’s beating heart, the murderer’s guilt drives him to confess to the killing.
