The Animals

George MacKay as Miles laughing
Nathalie Emmanuel as Gabby during the home invasion

Synopsis

Miles struggles with feelings of emasculation and emotional impotency within his relationship. An opportunity to turn things around arises from another man’s act of heroism. But when things take an unexpected turn, Miles is left to confront the reality that he is both the victim and perpetrator of his own warped masculine ideals.
Blending psychological thriller with dark comedy, THE ANIMALS explores modern masculinity, emotional repression, and the performance of strength, told through the unsettling lens of a
suburban home invasion.
