The Plague

Synopsis

An unstoppable plague is sweeping the nation...
Mankind's insatiable appetite for cheap consumer goods has pushed many species to the brink of extinction. Species that were geographically contained, until now.
16-year-old Alison Knight could never know that the burger she was about to eat would be the catalyst for an outbreak that we are powerless to stop. The spiders, which entered the food chain through contaminated meat, infiltrated grazing cattle herds at lightning speed. It was only a matter of time before someone became infected. In warm, moist, safe flesh the eggs hatch. Millions of innocent people are walking incubators providing the ideal breeding ground for a terrifying arachnid invasion.
