The Red Baron

Synopsis

From the carnage and chaos of the First World War arose one man whose name would pass into legend. Gentleman? Warrior? Adventurer? Manfred Von Richthofen is forever known as The Red Baron. The fearless flying ace was Germany's top pilot, with his good looks and successive victories making him a national celebrity and pin-up. With his distinctive flame red tri-plane, The Red Baron inspired both fear and respect from his enemies at a time when aerial combat was considered a gentlemanly sport. These young pilots, Allied and German, were heroic buccaneers.

Virginia Wool's Night & Day Virginia Woolf's Night & Day

Director: Tina Gharavi

Year:

Based on Virginia Woolf’s funniest novel, NIGHT AND DAY is an un-romantic comedy about a passionate astronomer Katharine Hilbery who does everything she can to avoid romantic love and marriage. Fun and contemporary in tone, this refreshing film showcases an ensemble of humourous performances against the ravishing backdrop of London in 1910, advances in science and technology and crumbling Edwardian patriarchy. Virginia’s story is as relevant to today as it ever was: women balancing romantic love with careers!
