The Unseen

Synopsis

Gemma and Will are shattered when their son dies in an accident. Gemma blames herself and starts to have panic attacks which affect her eyesight - and the audience's point of view. Will, tormented, believes he is hearing his son's voice calling out to him.
To escape their grief Gemma suggests they take up friend Paul's offer to stay at his Lake District country getaway. Gemma tries to stop her panic attacks with medication, aided by ex-pharmacist Paul. Will, now thinking that he is unable to hear to his son in his bedroom back home, antagonizes Paul and then suddenly returns home. Gemma becomes increasingly reliant on Paul who appears to be developing genuine feelings for her welfare.
Love, grief, and the frailty of the human condition are all brought to the fore as Gemma, Will and Paul are caught up in a descent into violence, both psychological and ultimately physical.

Having failed at an endless stream of entry-level jobs, an accident prone man finds a job as a butler. Despite wreaking utter havoc, he manages to do a few things right and wins the family he has always longed for. This is a hilarious comedy sure to delight children, families, and lovers of films such as Uncle Buck, Big Daddy and Mrs. Doubtfire.

Enter George, a rough villager, sone of Eric, rabbit-breeder extraordinaire, who is proud that he and his family are scum. George saves Emily from drowing and when she sees his rippling unmentionables, love is definitely in the air - until she realises just how lower class he is. This irreverent comedy moves from England to Italy and then to India, with all and sundry causing havoc on both continents!
