Transference
Synopsis
In the final ten minutes of a therapy session a man speaks to his counsellor about the feelings he has expressed for her. He hopes they may be reciprocated. But the therapist questions the source of both his emotions and her own subconscious feelings, and the possibility that transference can work both ways.
As we transfer our attention from one point of view to another we ask why we love the people we love and if there is any reason not to.
