Wasted

Synopsis

Wasted is an uncompromising and gritty film about two young lovers, Connor, a 17-year old street working male prostitute and his girlfriend Suzanne, a 16-year-old street-working prostitute. It is a picture of love and its pitiable fate in a loveless and harsh environment where the atmosphere is too sharp for even the tenderest of human life. An unforgettable, uplifting love story of 2 young people who cling to each other for hope and survival.

Through a missing pair of joggers, an unexpected line from Macbeth, and the quiet rituals of uniforms, registers, and school corridors, this film traces the first flickers of identity forming - not through revelation, but recognition.
