Project Detail

Yr Aduniad (The Reunion)

Synopsis

This 90's film is based on the very successful stage play 'Yr Aduniad - The Reunion' by Delyth Jones.

When thirtysomethings Lynne, Sioned, Wendy, Nerys and Jane meet for a reunion. They haven't seen each other since school days. Their chosen venue is 'Le Petit Cassoulette' a wine bar in their home town, Llanelli, a place as chic as it is shabby and as pretentious as it is tacky. The Reunion is essentially a comedy with dark undertones.

We are eavesdropping on very personal confessions about their past, their expectations and the reality of their lives. All laced with the honest, sometimes perceptive and often lewd and bawdy observations on life, the universe and men, that you only get from five old friends on a night out.
