Synopsis

Heather and Sarah Ann were inseparable when they were little. They told each other every secret. They knew they would be best friends forever... But then they grew up.
Now Heather is forced to return to her hometown when her father becomes ill. The cynical urbanite hates everything about the place she grew up – especially her bubbly childhood friend Sarah Ann. But Sarah Ann thinks they can be best friends again, and insists that Heather film the video for her dream wedding to a local policeman. Heather is convinced that the two young women have nothing in common – but what is going on between Sarah Ann and that handsome married man Heather once loved? And is Heather’s devil-may-care father really having an affair with Sarah Ann’s uptight mother, the wife of the Police Chief?

The Asperger’s syndrome that helped forge Numan's tunnel-like ambition, informing his music and image, also brought problems. At a time when the public knew little about the condition, the press labeled him a freak, one paper suggested his parents should have been doctored for giving birth to him. Depression, anxiety, near bankruptcy and a long period in the wilderness followed. Then Numan fell in love with his biggest fan, Gemma, who helped him rediscover his passion for music. Synopsis

Synopsis

Tehran, 1988. Shideh lives amid the chaos of the Iran-Iraq war. Accused of subversion and blacklisted from medical college, she is in a state of malaise. Furthermore, her husband is at war, leaving her alone to protect their young daughter, Dorsa. Shortly after a missile hits their apartment building but fails to explode, Dorsa falls ill and her behaviour becomes increasingly disturbed. Searching for answers, Shideh learns from a superstitious neighbour that the cursed, unexploded missile might have brought in djinns - malevolent spirits that travel on the wind. Convinced that a supernatural force within the building is attempting to possess Dorsa, Shideh finds she has no choice but to confront it if she is to save her daughter.

Synopsis

After her mother’s suicide, Helen, a young teacher, travels to Varanasi to deliver a letter to her mother’s twin sister Agatha. Agatha runs a missionary for low caste orphan children. When Helen and Agatha meet, it’s the first time Agatha’s seen her for 25 years.
Helen learns of a serial killing spree which has claimed the lives of four low caste girls, all burnt to death in and around city of fires. The killer seeks to claim the lives of seven girls to free himself and his loved one from the cycle of life and death and attain moksha.
